I'm an Italian Art Director and Motion Designer with a focus on visual systems that blend graphic design, typography, and motion to communicate complex ideas with clarity and depth. My approach is rooted in designing layered narrative—creating multiple levels of interpretation that invite deeper engagement with the content.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a broad range of sectors, including cultural, governmental, and non-profit institutions, as well as commercial and corporate environments.

My design practice revolves around the concept and research phase, which I consider pivotal to the creative process—shaping not just the form, but also the meaning behind each project. While motion design is my main field, I work across a variety of disciplines including editorial design, brand identity, data visualization, and publishing projects.
Experimentation plays a central role in my practice—whether through analog treatments, the study of behaviors and generative systems.

Creative Director

CoinShares, a leader in the Exchange Traded Products (ETP) industry, sought to simplify complex financial concepts for a broader audience. I led the Creative Direction and Motion design for a series of dynamic videos that translated CoinShares' in-depth blog articles into accessible and engaging visual content. My role included developing visual metaphors and storytelling strategies to convey nuanced financial topics in an intuitive, compelling format. The animations were primarily produced in Adobe After Effects, complemented by experimental sequences created in Cavalry to explore generative design techniques and procedural motion.

Motion System
Motion Lead
As Motion Lead, I helped define and implement a motion system rooted in stop-motion techniques, abstraction, and fluid shape morphing. The motion language was inspired by the flickering of a flame and the cadence of a narrator’s voice, echoing the analog warmth of a spoken waveform. This approach infuses the brand with a tactile, human quality, aligned with Storytel’s tone and values.  The result is a scalable and efficient system that invites experimentation while maintaining brand cohesion—fostering creativity without compromising consistency.

For the official UEFA EURO 2024 Draw, held at Hamburg’s iconic Elbphilharmonie, as part of illo we created a bespoke two-minute motion video that premiered during a live performance of “Con te partirò”, interpreted by tenor Jonas Kaufmann, violinist David Garrett, and the Deutscher Musikrat orchestra.

Set across an expansive curved screen with a 10K resolution—nearly 20 times larger than a standard output—our visual piece accompanied the music in real time, elevating the immersive atmosphere of the event.

Not a chronological collection but a thematic one.  A compilation of cult lyrics by the Emilian group, formed in Berlin in 1982. As a homage to the 40th anniversary of its foundation, a reissue enriched with the unpublished prefaces by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and Massimo Zamboni. Published for the first time in 1998, when CSI was already becoming known to the general public by entering the radio charts, the 'Libretto Rozzo' quickly became a cult object, and like every cult object, it disappeared from the shelves.

Brand Identity + Data
Motion Designer

Change is a festival about architecture and climate change, a place to share ideas and create connections between architects, universities, and people. A conversation to find resolutions and think about how much we impact our way of life.Data is a tool for measuring changes, which is why we designed a variable data–driven identity system, to show through an easy-to-understand visual system all the changes and their impact on everyday life. A visual identity to attract, raise awareness, and create participation.
